GRACE VON ELTEN

Hello! I’m a transfer student from Charlottesville, VA, and my educational journey has taken quite a few twists and turns. I graduated high school in 2017 and began my college experience at UVA as a student-athlete. After the onset of COVID-19, I decided to take a break from school before returning to community college, and I ultimately found my way to VCUarts. As an older student, many of my core art courses—such as those fulfilling the Drawing and Surface classes—were transitioned online midway through the 2020 semester. Because of this, I don’t have as many photos from those courses, though I’ve included the limited images I do have. The rest of my portfolio consists of artwork created during my time at Piedmont Virginia Community College.
