GRACE VON ELTEN

is a graphic designer and artist based in Charlottesville, VA.

With a Graphic Design Certificate and an Associate's Degree from Piedmont Virginia Community College, my passion lies in colors and enjoying what I am doing.

Design is so many things. It can vary from the logo of a brand to the design of a stamp to the design of a chair. I’ve been told design is a lot things, like problem solving or creative communication. To me, design is an outlet. It is an outlet to create things that make me happy and remind me why I started making art in the first place: to heal. Design is also an outlet for people with dreams and ideas. It is a way for people to make their visions and dreams come to life. It can be outlet for a company to rebrand or start over.

From an early age, I found solace and joy in the vibrant world of colors and shapes, effortlessly expressing myself through various mediums. Although it took until my early 20s to discover the path of graphic design, I was always captivated by the world of fonts and placement. This lifelong affinity for artistic expression has remained an integral part of my identity, helping shape myself into the passionate and imaginative individual I am today.

In addition to client work, I has been creating and selling designs as stickers and other novelty items since 2020.
